Corporate Partnerships


CareerBound, a partnership of Baltimore’s Promise, Baltimore City Public Schools, and the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development, is building a diverse, inclusive talent ecosystem. Focused on equity, CareerBound equips Baltimore’s youth—especially those from historically marginalized communities—with skills, credentials, and career experiences. Corporate partners play a key role in expanding economic opportunity and driving systemic change.

Investment

Provide Direct Investment

Provide financial support to enhance CareerBound’s five-component model, scaling impact, and improving workforce outcomes. Investment ensures that young people continue to have access to free training and services they need to ne healthy and whole.

Partner

Become an Employer Partner

Offer paid, subsidized pre-apprenticeship positions to introduce youth to careers in your industry or commit to employing CareerBound graduates with industry-recognized credentials, strengthening your workforce with well-prepared, local talent.

Award

Become a CareerBound Champion

Join or lead gatherings to engage more businesses in CareerBound and strengthen the talent ecosystem, or support Baltimore’s Promise in advocating for employer incentives under Maryland’s Blueprint to expand workforce readiness opportunities.

Offer Mentorship and Career Exposure

Provide mentorship and career exposure to Baltimore youth, helping them explore opportunities in your field, or host workplace visits and career days to introduce students to industries and skills.

Research and Innovation

Contribute to research that improves workforce development strategies and evaluates program impact. Use that research to work with schools and training providers to ensure curricula align with data, industry needs, and future skill demands.

Become a Training Provider

Apply to become a training provider, apprenticeship host site, or academic acceleration provider to equip youth with industry-recognized credentials and skills that meet workforce needs. Explore current offerings on our element pages.

Ensure Youth Well-Being

Partner with CareerBound to support students with essential services such as transportation, childcare, healthcare (physical and mental), financial literacy, and more, ensuring barriers to learning are broken and each student’s well-being is addressed in a way unique to their needs.
