In its first six years, hundreds of Grads2Careers alumni have entered Baltimore’s workforce in a variety of high-growth industries, from manufacturing to healthcare.
In addition to directly entering the workforce, graduates of these programs are able to take their new training into further study at a post-secondary institution or gain further credentials for higher income potential.
What can you expect from your Grads2Careers Program?
- Participate in FREE job training in a variety of career fields
- Training includes classroom instruction and hands-on practice
- Receive wraparound services, as needed
- Earn an industry-recognized credential and/or be prepared to take licensing or credential exams, depending on the training program
- Receive job placement assistance
Open to high school graduates in Baltimore City
Baltimore City Public Schools graduate OR have a Maryland GED
Be between the ages of 18-24
Baltimore City resident
Not currently enrolled in post-secondary education
Not currently in the workforce
Provider Spotlight

Bon Secours
Bon Secours is Grads2Careers’ largest training provider. Nearly 20% of all Grads2Careers enrollees go through their CNA/GNA training. Bon Secours’ holistic approach to teaching ensures barriers to learning are dismantled through built-in [coordinated resources]. More than three-quarters of graduates entered the workforce upon program completion, and graduates of this program were among the first students to receive further credentialing in the Alumni Track.
Urban Alliance
Urban Alliance offers training and paid internships in the field of property management and maintenance. Students earn real-world experience in a maintenance or facilities role, and receive job placement assistance. Many have enjoyed a seamless transition to their career when their internship turned into a full-time job upon graduation.
